India on Saturday clinched the U-19 Cricket World Cup title for the fifth time after defeating England by four wickets at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
A sensational all-around performance was given by Chandigarh boy Raj Angad Bawa as he registered a five-wicket haul.
Shaik Rasheed (50) and Nishant Sindhu (50) also chipped in with vital contributions as India added the fifth title to their collection, having previously won the trophy in 2000, 2008, 2012, 2018.
Chasing 190, India lost Angkrish Raghuvanshi (0) early but Shaik Rasheed and Harnoor Singh steadied the run-chase with a 49-run stand.
England had opted to bat after winning the toss but they were shot out by India for 189 in 44.5 overs with pacer Bawa (5/31 in 9.5 overs) and Ravi Kumar (4/34 from 9 overs) sharing the spoils.

Meanwhile, Yash Dhull becomes the fifth Indian captain to win the title after Mohammad Kaif, Virat Kohli, Unmukt Chand and Prithvi Shaw.
