Australia defeated India in the fifth and final Test by six wickets and claimed the Border Gavaskar Trophy 3-1 after 10 years on Sunday, January 5.
The last time Australia had won the series was at home in 2014-15 when it beat India 2-0 in a four-match Test series.
Since then, India won four consecutive series, including two away from home.
The result also allowed Australia to move closer to a second straight World Test Championship final.
