This growth reflects the broader economic significance of India’s travel and tourism industry

The travel and hospitality industry is experiencing significant growth, as indicated by the latest Employment Outlook Report from TeamLease Services, which reveals that 66 percent of the companies surveyed intend to increase their workforce.

The report examining hiring trends for the second half of the fiscal year 2024-25 (October-March) forecasts a Net Employment Change (NEC) of 8.2 percent for this timeframe, highlighting the sector’s robust growth in job creation.

The expansion of the travel and hospitality industry is being driven by the integration of smart tourism technologies, a resurgence in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events, and an increased emphasis on sustainable tourism initiatives.
