Punjab Kings batter Priyansh Arya scored a century against Chennai Super Kings during the Indian Premier League 2025 match in New Chandigarh on Tuesday, April 8.
The left-hander got to the mark in just 39 deliveries, the second-fastest century by an Indian in the IPL. The record for the fastest ton by an Indian is held by Yusuf Pathan, who struck it in just 37 deliveries in 2010.
Priyansh becomes the second batter to score a century this season. Ishan Kishan of Sunrisers Hyderabad is the only other batter to reach the three-figure total.
This century was also the second-fastest in the franchise history after David Miller’s 38-ball ton against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2013.
