A suspected terror attack has been reported on a group of tourists at the Baisaran mountain top in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. According to reports, unidentified gunmen opened fire on the tourists who had gone for a trekking trip.
Among those injured, three are local people and three are non-locals.
The security has been beefed up in Pahalgam and forces have rushed to cordon off the area.
Gunshots were heard in Baisaran valley in Pahalgam, police said. The area is approachable only on foot or horses, according to officials.
