A massive search operation was launched in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua on Friday, April 25, after a woman claimed to have seen four suspected terrorists who killed 26 people in the resort town of Pahalgam earlier this week.
Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operations Group has reached the spot and a combing operation was on, according to officials.
Meanwhile, search and combing operations were underway in Pulwama and Baramulla. In Pattan area of Baramulla, the searches were being done in connection with alleged anti-India activities by the banned Jammu and Kashmir National Front (JKNF) outfit.
As part of ongoing efforts to curb unlawful activities and dismantle the terror ecosystem, Baramulla Police conducted a search operation at the residence of Ghulam Mohammad Ganaie in Pattan on Friday.
The search, conducted in the presence of an executive magistrate, led to the recovery of incriminating material linked to the JKNF. All recovered items were seized and documented as evidence in the ongoing investigation.
