The ordnance manufacturing companies in several states cancelled the long leaves of the employees to meet the production target amid growing tension with Pakistan after Pahalgam terror attack.

The companies stated that the decision was taken to ensure that the backlogs and the production target for the current month is achieved. While providing details, the companies stated that the leaves of more than two days have been cancelled for the officers and the employees.

The Ordnance Factory Khamaria (OFK) of Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district, announced that the extended leaves have been cancelled to meet the production targets. More than 4,000 employees work in this factory and it is one of the biggest units of Munitions India Limited (MIL).
