An IndiGo flight bound for Madurai was forced to return to Chennai just 30 minutes after takeoff on Friday, June 20, morning due to a reported technical issue. IndiGo flight, carrying over 60 passengers, departed from Chennai International Airport at approximately 7:55 AM.
However, shortly into the journey, the crew detected a technical snag and made the decision to turn the aircraft around as a precautionary measure. The flight landed safely back in Chennai and all passengers were reported to be safe.
Airport authorities and airline officials confirmed that another aircraft was promptly arranged to accommodate the affected passengers and continue the journey to Madurai.
