Anne Hathaway, who is currently busy filming 'The Devil Wears Prada 2', has shared her first look, and netizens are already going gaga over her outfit and look

As Stanley Tucci’s iconic Nigel Kipling once warned in the 2006 classic The Devil Wears Prada – ‘Gird your loins!’ – Anne Hathaway is officially back as the ambitious Andy Sachs.

Buzz surrounding the much-anticipated sequel, The Devil Wears Prada 2, has surged after photos and videos of Hathaway filming on the streets of New York surfaced online. While Andy walked away from her glamorous job at Runway magazine at the end of the first film, it’s clear she hasn’t left her fashion-forward sensibilities behind.

The actor recently shared a photo of herself dressed in a sleek pinstripe vest and matching trousers, accessorised with pearls – a look that had fans speculating about her return. Soon after, she was spotted wearing the same ensemble while shooting scenes in Manhattan, confirming that her character’s signature blend of ambition and style is still very much intact.

Earlier, the production house thrilled fans by announcing the start of production on The Devil Wears Prada 2, sharing the iconic motion poster on social media – the signature red high heel with a pitchfork.

Based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel, The Devil Wears Prada follows Andy, a young journalism graduate who moves to New York and lands a job as an assistant to the formidable Miranda Priestly, one of the city’s most powerful fashion magazine editors. Directed by David Frankel, the original film hit theaters in 2006 and featured a stellar cast including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt.

Hathaway, who portrayed Andy, was most recently seen in the 2024 romantic comedy The Idea of You, alongside Nicholas Galitzine. Directed by Michael Showalter and based on the bestselling novel of the same name, the film received widespread praise from critics and audiences alike.

The Hollywood star has a packed schedule ahead. In addition to Devil Wears Prada 2, Hathaway is set to appear in several upcoming films, including Mother Mary, The Odyssey, Flowervale Street, and Verity.
