The attackers, reportedly equipped with lethal weapons, opened fire on the station, triggering a fierce gunfight with the police.

Officials confirmed that Constable Abu Bakar lost his life in the attack, while another officer, Haroon, sustained injuries. The exchange of fire between the assailants and law enforcement was described as intense, as police tried to repel the assault.

In the aftermath of the incident, authorities issued a high alert across the region. Additional security forces have been deployed to the area to reinforce police presence and assist in ongoing operations aimed at tracking down the perpetrators.
