Central London witnessed one of the largest right-wing demonstrations in recent UK history, as more than 100,000 protesters marched under the leadership of anti-immigration activist Tommy Robinson. Police reported that several officers were assaulted during the event, which was branded as the “Unite the Kingdom” march and saw approximately 110,000 participants.
However, aerial visuals painted a different picture, showing several kilometres of Central London roads packed with demonstrators. This has led some observers to suggest that official estimates may have underplayed the true scale of the turnout, potentially downplaying the magnitude of the protest.
Tommy Robinson himself claimed that millions had joined the march, describing it as the biggest display of support for his movement to date. In a social media post, he accused authorities of deliberately minimizing the event’s significance and attempting to portray it as just another routine protest.
