A private aircraft crashed shortly after taking off from the Mohammadabad airstrip in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday, October 9, officials confirmed. Fortunately, both pilots and all passengers escaped unharmed.
According to district authorities, the aircraft, registered as VT-DEZ and operated by Jet Service Aviation Pvt Ltd, lost control during take-off and veered off into nearby bushes at around 10:30 am.
The plane was carrying the managing director of a beer factory under construction in the district’s industrial area, who had arrived to inspect the site, PTI reported.
District Magistrate Ashutosh Kumar Dwivedi said, “The private jet carrying the MD lost control during take-off and went into nearby bushes. Fortunately, all occupants are safe, and no injuries have been reported.”
The cause of the loss of control is currently under investigation by aviation authorities.
