Two terrorists were killed on Tuesday, October 14, when the Indian Army successfully foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. Reports indicate that several terrorists are reportedly waiting at launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to cross into Indian territory before the passes are shut. Officials noted that the exact number of militants waiting to infiltrate is fluid but estimated to be around 100.
