Two terrorists have been killed in J&K's Kupwara by the Security Forces

Two terrorists were killed on Tuesday, October 14, when the Indian Army successfully foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. Alert Army troops had noticed suspicious movement near the LoC and engaged the infiltrating group in a sustained exchange of fire.

According to officials, the operation is ongoing, and further details are awaited. The Army, along with other security forces, maintains round-the-clock vigilance on the LoC and the surrounding hinterland to prevent any infiltration attempts before the mountain passes close due to heavy winter snowfall.

Reports indicate that several terrorists are reportedly waiting at launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to cross into Indian territory before the passes are shut. Officials noted that the exact number of militants waiting to infiltrate is fluid but estimated to be around 100.
