Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will kick off his campaign for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections from Wednesday, October 28, marking his first major appearance in the state since the conclusion of his ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ earlier this year.
According to reports, Gandhi will address joint rallies with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Muzaffarpur’s Sakra constituency and Darbhanga. The events are expected to mark the formal start of the Congress-RJD alliance’s coordinated campaign across the state.
The Congress is also likely to release its election manifesto ahead of the rallies, outlining its key promises for the 2025 Bihar polls.
Rahul Gandhi’s return to the campaign trail comes amid heightened political activity, as opposition parties step up efforts to counter the ruling NDA in the state. His participation is seen as a bid to energize Congress workers and strengthen the Mahagathbandhan’s outreach among voters.
Polling for the Bihar Assembly elections will be held in multiple phases beginning next month.
