India have clinched the T20I series 2-1 after the final match against Australia was called off due to persistent rain. This marks India’s first-ever T20I series victory on Australian soil under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav. In the abandoned match, Australia skipper Mitchell Marsh won the toss and opted to bowl first. India got off to a flying start, crossing the 50-run mark in under five overs. Openers Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma displayed excellent form, maintaining a strike rate close to 180. Despite being dropped twice, Abhishek continued to punish the Australian bowlers with aggressive stroke play.
