The Assembly Election Results for Bihar will be declared today, on November 14.

The much-awaited verdict of the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections will be declared today, November 14, with counting scheduled to begin at 8 am. The elections were conducted in two phases—November 6 (121 seats) and November 11 (122 seats)—across the state’s 243 constituencies. This year’s contest saw an intense battle between the ruling NDA alliance and the opposition Mahagathbandhan, setting the stage for a decisive political showdown.

The NDA, led by the BJP and JDU, contested in partnership with the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), the Rashtriya Lok Morcha, and the Hindustani Awam Morcha. On the other side, the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan included the Congress, the Vikassheel Insaan Party, and Left parties. Bihar witnessed an impressive voter turnout of 67.13%, with 65.08% participation in the first phase and 68.79% in the second phase. The state’s electoral roll features 7.43 crore voters, including over 1.6 lakh service voters.

A total of 90,712 polling stations were set up, with 38 constituencies reserved for Scheduled Castes and two for Scheduled Tribes. Key reserved constituencies include Ramnagar, Rajnagar, Patepur, Rosera, Rajgir, and Sikandra. Bihar’s long-time Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who has led the state for most years since 2005, once again stands at the center of the political spotlight as the results unfold.

Several high-profile candidates are in the fray this election season, including former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav (RJD) from Raghopur, Deputy CMs Samrat Choudhary (BJP) from Tarapur and Vijay Kumar Sinha (BJP) from Lakhisarai, along with senior leaders like Vijay Kumar Chaudhary (JDU), Ram Kripal Yadav (BJP), Shreyasi Singh (BJP), Tej Pratap Yadav (JJD), Ajit Sharma (Congress), and Awadh Bihari Choudhary (RJD). Their performances, along with those of several other prominent contenders, will shape Bihar’s political future as the results come in today.
