Security forces on Friday, November 14, demolished the Pulwama residence of Umar Mohammed, also known as Umar un-Nabi, who has been identified as the individual behind the car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort. The house, located in south Kashmir, was razed early in the morning under tight security supervision.
Investigations into the Monday evening explosion, which killed 13 people and injured more than 20, revealed that Umar—working as a doctor at Al-Falah University in Faridabad—was driving the Hyundai i20 that detonated near a traffic signal on Netaji Subhash Marg close to the historic monument. Authorities say the probe continues to uncover the wider network involved in the attack.
Officials stated that the demolition was intended to send a strong message against involvement in or support for terror-related activities. Similar bulldozer action had earlier been taken against individuals linked to the Pahalgam terror conspiracy, marking a broader crackdown by security agencies.
