Nitish Kumar is set to take oath as Bihar chief minister for a record 10th term today, just days after the NDA swept the assembly elections with a decisive mandate.

Nitish Kumar is set to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record 10th term on Thursday, November 20, following the NDA’s decisive victory in the recent assembly elections. The historic ceremony will take place at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, with preparations in their final stages to host a large gathering of dignitaries and citizens.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and several senior NDA leaders are expected to attend the event. In addition to the main stage, multiple pandals have been set up to accommodate VIP guests. Authorities have put in place elaborate security arrangements, anticipating a turnout of over three lakh people.

Earlier, Nitish Kumar submitted his resignation as the outgoing Chief Minister to Governor Arif Mohammad Khan on Wednesday. He was accompanied by prominent leaders including Union Minister Chirag Paswan, RJD chief Upendra Kushwaha, and Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya during the process.
