Nearly two weeks after the deadly blast near Delhi’s Red Fort claimed at least 10 lives and injured several others, the investigation has uncovered significant leads. Security agencies, probing the incident and a massive explosives haul from Faridabad’s Dauj village in Haryana, have identified multiple individuals and entities allegedly connected to what authorities are calling the “white collar terror module.”
The probe has also drawn attention to Faridabad’s Al Falah University and its owner, as some suspects involved in the Red Fort blast, including Dr. Umar Un Nabi—who drove the explosive-laden car—were associated with the institution as faculty members. Investigators are examining the university’s potential role in facilitating the terror module.
In a related incident linked to the same terror network, nine people were killed last week at Nowgam Police Station in Jammu and Kashmir when explosives recovered from Faridabad detonated accidentally during forensic sample collection. Authorities are continuing investigations into the network and its operations across states.
