The wedding of Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal has been postponed indefinitely after Mandhana’s father was rushed to a hospital in Sangli due to a sudden illness. The ceremony was scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 23, in her hometown in Maharashtra.

Mandhana’s manager, Tuhin Mishra, confirmed that her father is currently under observation as doctors conduct multiple tests. He added that Mandhana was firm in her decision not to proceed with the wedding while her family was facing a medical emergency, leading to the postponement of the event.

The couple had planned an intimate wedding ceremony, with festivities already underway, including Mehendi, Haldi, Sangeet, and even a friendly Bride Team vs Groom Team cricket match. The celebrations, filled with joy and anticipation, have now been put on hold as the family prioritises health and recovery.
