India's apparel exports surged by 11.6 per cent to USD 11.31 billion during April-December of this fiscal year

The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) reported that the nation’s clothing exports increased by 11.6 percent, reaching USD 11.31 billion during the April to December timeframe of this fiscal year, driven by robust growth in markets including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.

The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) stated that now is the ideal moment for India to seize the increasing opportunities and enhance its efforts to broaden its international presence and penetrate new markets.

The chairman stated that the long-term prospects for Indian apparel exports are optimistic, primarily due to enhanced product acceptance, the ability to adapt to evolving consumer trends, factories’ commitment to compliance, and supportive industry policies.
