The BCCI has officially announced India’s U19 squad for the upcoming ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup, naming ace batter Ayush Mhatre as captain and Vihaan Malhotra as vice-captain. The squad also features notable young talents such as Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Yuvraj Gohil, Vedant Trivedi, and a balanced mix of batters, bowlers, and wicketkeepers including Abhigyan Kundu and Harvansh Singh.
The eight-team tournament will be divided into two groups of four, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the semi-finals. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan have all confirmed their participation, with the remaining spots to be filled through regional qualifiers.
Group A will include India and Pakistan along with the winners of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 3, while Group B is set to feature Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and the winner of Qualifier 2.
