The Bombay High Court has directed Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, to deposit Rs 60 crore before they are allowed to travel abroad.
The order comes amid an ongoing investigation into an alleged Rs 60 crore cheating case, with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) naming Raj Kundra in its chargesheet. The ED claims the couple was involved in fraudulent activities resulting in significant financial losses.
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra must comply with the deposit condition before overseas travel, failing which they could face legal consequences. The couple’s legal team is expected to respond to the court’s directive, and further updates are awaited as the investigation progresses.
