The BSF has released dramatic footage from Operation Sindoor, revealing India’s targeted strikes on terror launchpads located inside Pakistani territory. The video, made public on Tuesday, shows precision attacks on three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) bases and the destruction of Pakistani military posts, with Pakistani Rangers seen fleeing under heavy fire.
The operation was carried out on the night of May 9 and 10, following what Indian officials described as unprovoked firing by a Pakistani post. According to BSF Jammu Frontier Inspector General Shashank Anand, Indian forces were fully prepared and launched a “deliberate and planned” response.
“We destroyed the Looni terror launchpad, located about 3 kilometers inside Pakistan, near the Line of Control (LoC),” Anand said during a press briefing. “Another base, identified as Mastpur, across the RS Pura sector, was also eliminated. During our action, Pakistani Rangers were seen retreating from their positions.”
Anand added that India’s counteroffensive resulted in heavy damage to Pakistani military infrastructure, including radar systems, communication centers, and airstrips across 11 Pakistani airbases. He emphasized that Indian forces suffered no casualties during the operation.
The strikes marked a significant escalation along the border, prompting diplomatic engagement between the two countries. By May 10, both sides had reached an understanding to cease hostilities, indicating a temporary de-escalation.
The Indian government has described the strikes as a necessary response to terror threats originating from across the border, reaffirming its policy of zero tolerance toward cross-border terrorism.
