Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, April 23, reacted to the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 people, most of them tourists.

In an official statement, Pakistan expressed its “concern” over the incident and the deteriorating situation in the region.

“We are concerned at the loss of tourists’ lives in an attack in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. We extend our condolences to the near ones of the deceased and wish the injured a speedy recovery,” the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Shafqat Khan said in a statement.
