Deepika Padukone has become the first Indian actress to be named an honouree for the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026 in the Motion Pictures category. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the list live, placing Padukone among global icons such as Demi Moore, Rachel McAdams, Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, and Stanley Tucci.
Widely recognised for her global impact, Padukone was featured in TIME’s 100 Most Influential People list in 2018 and later received the TIME100 Impact Award for her advocacy of mental health and her influential presence in cinema.
Her international milestones include unveiling the FIFA World Cup trophy during the 2022 final in Qatar and breaking new ground in fashion by becoming the first Indian face of luxury houses Cartier and Louis Vuitton, redefining the global visibility of Indian celebrities.
