Police are looking for a red Ford EcoSport car that was owned by bomber Dr Umar Un Nabi.

The Red Fort blast investigation has taken a sharp turn after security agencies received information that the primary accused, Dr. Umar Mohammad alias Umar Un Nabi, owned a second vehicle—a red Ford EcoSport with Delhi registration number DL10CK0458. The car, reportedly registered at the Rajouri Garden RTO on November 22, 2017, is now at the centre of an intensive manhunt led by Delhi Police, with assistance from forces in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Following this development, law enforcement agencies have been instructed to trace the vehicle urgently. All red Ford EcoSport cars are being stopped and verified at traffic checkpoints and state borders. Special alerts have been issued to patrol and picket units, directing officers to remain on high alert, maintain armed readiness, and report any sighting of the vehicle without delay.

Officials emphasized that any encounter with the vehicle must be handled “lawfully and cooperatively.” Police teams have been told to secure the area, alert nearby stations, and follow the chain of command for further action. The search operation underscores the renewed urgency in uncovering the full extent of the Red Fort blast plot and any possible accomplices or remaining threats linked to the deceased suspect.
