Delhi Capitals (DC) were magnificent against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League 2025. The hosts defeated the SRH by 7 wickets to register their second win from as many matches in the 18th season of the tournament.
Chasing 164 runs, Faf du Plessis (50 runs off 27 balls) and Jake Fraser-McGurk (38 runs off 32 balls) batted well for the Capitals. In the end, Abishek Porel (34) and Tristan Stubbs (21) were unbeaten. Zeeshan Ansari took three wickets for the Men in Orange.
Uncapped star Aniket Verma tried his best, slamming 74. In the run chase, Faf du Plessis smashed a 26-ball fifty to ensure that IPL debutant Zeeshan Ansari’s three wickets wouldn’t make a difference in the end.
