Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday launched Samajwadi perfume, made out of 22 natural scents, ahead of upcoming 2022 assembly polls.
The perfume, bottled in red and green glass, is a political tactic to attract more voters to the party in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly election.
On Tuesday, Yadav said, “The scent will have its magic in 2022 [polls].”
The Samajwadi perfume comes in a box with a picture of Akhilesh Yadav, with the election symbol of the party on it. The ‘Samajwadi Attar’ was inaugurated by party’s leader from Kannauj and Uttar Pradesh MLC Pushpraj Jain.
During the inauguration, Jain said that when people will use the perfume, they would smell "socialism" in it.
He added, "Samajwadi perfume will end hate in 2022.”
Earlier in 2016, Akhilesh Yadav had launched a range of perfumes named ‘Samajwadi Sugandh’ to mark four years of his party government in the State, as per reports. The perfume was made of four fragrances, with each bottle capturing the fragrance of four different cities—Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi and Kannauj.
