    From today (April 1), commercial LPG cylinder has become expensive. The price of commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or cooking gas was increased by Rs 250 per 19-kilogram cylinder from Friday.

    After the revision, the price of a 19-kg cylinder in the national capital is Rs 2,253 per unit. In Kolkata, a cylinder will now cost Rs 2,351. In Mumbai and Chennai, it will carry a price tag of Rs 2,205 and 2,406, respectively.

    It may be mentioned, earlier on March 1, the rate of a 19 kg commercial cylinder was increased by Rs 105. On March 22, its price was reduced by Rs 9.

    Meanwhile, there has been no change in the price of domestic cooking gas. A domestic 14.2 kg LPG cylinder is available for Rs 949.50 in Delhi, Rs 976 in Kolkata, Rs 949.50 in Mumbai and Rs 965.50 in Chennai.
