The Enforcement Directorate has filed a chargesheet against singer Fazilpuria and Elvish Yadav for using protected wildlife in videos, violating the Wildlife Protection Act.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a chargesheet against YouTuber Elvish Yadav and singer Fazilpuria for allegedly featuring protected wildlife species in their videos, in violation of Indian wildlife protection laws. The agency has accused both of generating income through illegal use of such species, classifying the earnings as proceeds of crime (POC).

According to the ED, Fazilpuria — whose real name is Rahul Yadav and who created the music video “32 Bore” — used protected species without authorization. The singer reportedly entered into a deal with MS Sky Digital India Pvt. Ltd. for the digital distribution and monetization of the video, receiving Rs 50 lakh in his account. Of this, Rs 36.2 lakh was transferred in multiple tranches, while around Rs 14 lakh was spent on personal and smaller expenses. The agency claims he generated, possessed, and utilized POC and now faces charges under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

Meanwhile, Elvish Yadav, the owner of the popular Elvish Yadav Vlogs YouTube channel, is accused of uploading a video featuring protected wildlife, allegedly earning Rs 84,000 in revenue from it. The ED has classified this amount as POC and seized it as part of its ongoing investigation into the case.
