PM Narendra Modi, addressing air warriors at Punjab’s Adampur Air Base on Tuesday, May 13, declared that India has demonstrated its strength by delivering a decisive blow not just to terrorists, but also to the Pakistani military that supports them.
“I can proudly say that all of you reached your target with perfection. In Pakistan, it was not just the terrorist camps and their air bases that were destroyed, but their nefarious designs and audacity were also defeated. Rattled with Operation Sindoor, the enemy tried to attack this air base and several of our other air bases multiple times. They targeted us again and again but the nefarious designs of Pakistan failed each time,” PM Modi said, sending a strong message across the border. He praised the armed forces for making it clear that there is no longer any safe haven for terrorists in Pakistan, stating that “there is no place left in Pakistan where terrorists can sit and breathe in peace.”
Reaffirming India’s aggressive stance on cross-border terrorism, he asserted, “Hum ghar mein ghuskar marenge aur bachane ka ek mauka tak nahi denge (We will enter their homes and strike, and we won’t even give them a chance to escape).”
Highlighting India’s advancing military capability, the Prime Minister warned that the mere thought of India’s drones and missiles would leave Pakistan sleepless.
“Pakistan’s drone, their UAVs, aircraft and missiles – all of those failed before our capable air defence. I extend heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of all air bases of the country and every air warrior of the Indian Air Force. You have done a really fantastic job. The Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy have defeated the Pakistani Army on which these terrorists were relying. There is no such place in Pakistan where terrorists can sit and breathe in peace,” the PM added.
This address came a day after his national speech, where he called Operation Sindoor “India’s new normal.” Reiterating that message at Adampur, PM Modi emphasised, “India’s ‘Laxman Rekha’ against terrorism is now crystal clear. If another terror attack occurs, India will respond – and it will be a solid response. We’ve seen this in the surgical strike, in the air strike, and now, with Operation Sindoor.”
His remarks underline a firm and evolving military doctrine, signalling a no-tolerance approach to terrorism and a readiness to take the battle to enemy territory.
