India's tour of Bangladesh rescheduled

India’s white-ball tour of Bangladesh, originally scheduled for August 2025, has been postponed, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced. The series, comprising three ODIs and three T20Is, was under doubt due to political tensions between the two nations, with reports suggesting a possible cancellation.

However, following discussions between the BCCI and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), both boards agreed to defer the series to September 2026. The decision was taken in consideration of the international commitments and scheduling priorities of both teams.

In a joint statement, the BCCI confirmed the postponement and said that the BCB looks forward to hosting India for the much-anticipated series in 2026. The revised schedule and fixtures will be announced closer to the new dates.
