Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, July 29, criticised the Congress party during a Lok Sabha debate on the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, accusing it of failing to back the armed forces’ resolve.

Highlighting India’s strong diplomatic standing, the Prime Minister said, “Out of 193 countries, only three stood with Pakistan. The rest stood either with us or remained neutral. Not a single country objected to India taking action in self-defence.”

Taking a swipe at the Opposition, PM Modi added, “The world stood with India — but the Congress couldn’t muster the courage to stand with our armed forces.”
