Defence Minister Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, addressing the Rajya Sabha, affirmed that Operation Sindoor is not over but merely paused, and warned that India will not hesitate to resume military action if Pakistan attempts another act of aggression.

“Our forces deliberately chose to destroy terror camps across the border while ensuring no civilian casualties in Pakistan,” Singh stated, underlining the precision and restraint shown during the operation.

He confirmed that Indian security forces have successfully neutralised the three terrorists from The Resistance Front who were responsible for the brutal killing of 26 civilians in Pahalgam on April 22.

Praising the armed forces, Singh said their role in safeguarding India’s internal and external security “cannot be appreciated enough.” He further stressed that Operation Sindoor should be seen not just through the lens of present achievements, but also as a defining moment in shaping India’s security posture for the future.
