Deloitte India also said the country needs to decouple from global uncertainties and harness its domestic potential

Deloitte India has forecasted that India’s GDP will increase by 6.5-6.8 percent in the current fiscal year. The firm emphasized the need for India to adjust to the changing global environment and leverage its internal capabilities to promote sustainable growth.

Deloitte India’s Economic Outlook report emphasized the necessity for the country to detach from global uncertainties and leverage its domestic capabilities.

India is advancing in the global value chains despite facing both international and domestic challenges. This progress is evident in the increasing proportion of high-value manufacturing exports, especially in the sectors of electronics and machinery and equipment.

Deloitte India has updated its annual GDP growth forecast for FY2024-25, now estimating it to be between 6.5 and 6.8 percent. For the subsequent year, the projection is set at 6.7 to 7.3 percent.
