Israel to suspend military activity daily from 10 am to 8 pm

The Israeli military announced on Sunday, July 27, that it will enforce daily pauses in operations across three areas of Gaza to facilitate humanitarian aid, according to a Reuters report. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that these temporary halts will take place in “densely populated areas,” while military activities will continue in other parts of the region.

As per the announcement, operations will be suspended each day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time in Al-Mawasi, Deir al-Balah, and Gaza City. These humanitarian pauses will remain in effect until further notice.

In addition, the IDF has designated specific “secure routes” within Gaza to ensure safer and more consistent delivery of aid. These corridors will be operational daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., beginning July 27, to support the movement of relief supplies and civilians.

The military noted that the decision was made in coordination with the United Nations and international organizations, following discussions focused on enhancing humanitarian efforts in the region.
