Israel targeted an area near Iran’s Khondab nuclear facility, which houses a heavy water installation, while Iran launched a missile attack directly hitting Soroka Medical Center—southern Israel’s largest hospital.
Meanwhile, air raid sirens blared across Israel as Iran launched another wave of missile attacks.
The latest escalation has cast a shadow over hopes for peace in the Middle East, fueling growing uncertainty in the region. In response, Israel has issued evacuation warnings to residents of Arak and Khondab in central Iran—locations that include a key heavy water reactor, part of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
