Actor Sachin Chandwade, best known for his role in the Netflix series Jamtara 2, has died by suicide at the age of 25. The young actor was reportedly found hanging at his flat in Pune on October 23.
According to police reports, Chandwade was rushed to a nearby hospital by his family and friends, but he succumbed during treatment around 1:30 am on October 24. An accidental death case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
Chandwade, who hailed from Parola in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district, was also a software engineer and had been working at an IT park in Pune while pursuing his acting career.
In addition to Jamtara 2, he had worked in several Marathi projects and was awaiting the release of his upcoming film Asurvan, where he played a significant role.
The news of his death has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, with colleagues and fans expressing grief over the loss of a promising young talent.
