Amit Shah, addressing a rally in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, alleged that the DMK is heading the country’s most corrupt government.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted the DMK-Congress alliance during a rally in Tirunelveli, calling it “the most corrupt government in the country” and accusing both parties of pushing dynastic politics.

Shah said Sonia Gandhi is determined to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister, while Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin wants his son, Udhayanidhi Stalin, elevated as the state’s Chief Minister. “I want to tell them clearly — neither Rahul Gandhi will become Prime Minister, nor Udhayanidhi Stalin will become Chief Minister. Only the NDA will win both in Tamil Nadu and at the Centre,” Shah declared.

The senior BJP leader also attacked the DMK over corruption charges, citing cases against ministers K. Ponmudy and V. Senthil Balaji. Responding to the DMK’s opposition to a proposed constitutional amendment affecting jailed leaders, Shah questioned Stalin’s credibility on governance.

He contrasted the BJP-led government with the opposition alliance, saying Prime Minister Narendra Modi runs the administration with principles inspired by the Tamil classic Thirukkural.
