Jilted Lover Chops Off Woman’s Body, Dumps Pieces At Several Places In Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested a man for allegedly murdering a woman missing from the last four days from her home in Soibugh area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district. 

The accused, Shabir Ahmad Wani, a resident of Mohanpora Ompora, allegedly chopped off the victim's head, sliced her body into pieces and dumped them at different spots in Budgam. 

While the police were yet to reveal the motive of the murder, the woman's relatives alleged that the man had earlier approached her family for marriage but the woman had turned down his proposal.
