A prominent TV and film star, Annu Kapoor, was admitted to a hospital in New Delhi following a chest ailment. The 66 years old actor was brought to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

Meanwhile, the administration of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi issued a statement on the matter of Kapoor's health. "Mr. Annu Kapoor was admitted for a chest problem. He is admitted under Dr. Sushant Wattal in cardiology. He is currently stable and recovering," according to a statement released by the hospital.

Kapoor has appeared in more than a hundred films and television series in addition to his other roles as a singer, director, radio jockey, and TV personality.
