Bride Calls Off Wedding After Groom Fails To Count Simple Currency Notes Amid Ceremony

A bride named Rita Singh, from Uttar Pradesh’s Farrukhabad, called off her wedding after the groom failed to count a few currency notes of Rs 10. The event took place after the priest conducting the ceremony informed the girl's family about the groom's behaviour.

Soon after hearing about the groom's odd behaviour, the family decided to put the man to test. They gave him 30 notes of Rs 10 and asked him to count them. However, he failed to complete the task. And that was the last straw for the bride. The 21-year-old walked out of the ceremony and decided to call the wedding off.

Meanwhile, the bride's family stated that they unaware of the groom being "mentally weak".

However, the refusal of the bride to marry the guy led to a spat between the two families. Though the cops tried to mediate, the bride was adamant. Eventually, the bharaat had to return.
