Top leaders of Opposition parties will meet in the Patna district of Bihar on Friday, June 23, to chalk out a roadmap for the formation of an anti-BJP front for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. The meeting is being hosted by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (JDU) and his deputy Tejashwi Yadav (RJD). According to reports, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is likely walk out of the meeting if the Congress does not promise its support against the Centre's ordinance. On the other hand, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar said that “We are meeting to discuss some important issues of the country and decide the future course of action. Manipur issue will also be discussed.” West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, and chief of Jammu and Kashmir based People’s Democratic Party Mehbooba Mufti are among the leaders who have already arrived in Patna.
