PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Nitish Kumar Received Death Threats: Delhi Police

The cyber cell of the Delhi Police on Wednesday, June 21, has received two phone calls from an individual making threats to kill PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.

According to police, authorities are in pursuit of an individual who is believed to be under the influence of alcohol.

However, Delhi Police soon identified the man who made the threatening call. He was identified a Sudheer Sharma, who works as a carpenter.

On further inquiry, it has come out that the person is a habitual drinker and consumes alcohol during the day time also.

Notably, this is not the first time that the Delhi Police has received calls threatening PM Modi and other top political leaders.
