Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday, May 7, praised the armed forces for carrying out precision strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), saying the action targeted those who killed innocent people.
Speaking at the inauguration of 50 infrastructure projects by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) across six states and two Union Territories, Singh extended gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fully backing the armed forces who carried out Operation Sindoor.
“The operation reflects not just our military precision, but also our moral restraint. In the words of Lord Hanuman: ‘Jin mohi maara, tin mohi maare‘. This means we struck only those who harmed our innocents,” he said.
Singh said the armed forces showed sensitivity to ensure that no civilian location or civilian population was affected.
“As you all know, last night the Indian forces created a new history by displaying their valour and courage. The Indian armed forces have acted with precision, alertness and sensitivity. The targets we had set have been destroyed with precision as per the planned plan,” he said.
