Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, is scheduled to visit the United States later this month, marking his second trip to Washington in as many months.
The visit underscores a renewed momentum in U.S.-Pakistan military and strategic cooperation. During his stay, Munir will participate in the farewell ceremony of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander General Michael Kurilla, who has consistently acknowledged Pakistan as a “phenomenal partner” in counter-terrorism efforts.
The back-to-back visits highlight the growing engagement between the two militaries amid evolving regional security dynamics.
