The Winter Session of Parliament will be held from December 1 to December 19, the government announced on Friday, following approval from President Droupadi Murmu.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju confirmed the dates on social media, stating that the session would be “subject to exigencies of parliamentary business.” He expressed hope for a “constructive and meaningful” session that would strengthen democracy and address the aspirations of the people.
The upcoming session is expected to take up key legislative business and discussions on major national issues as the government prepares for the final parliamentary calendar of the year.
