The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday, April 15, filed a chargesheet against senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in connection with its ongoing money laundering investigation into the National Herald case.
Earlier this month, the ED began the process of taking over assets worth Rs 661 crore belonging to Associated Journals Limited (AJL), as part of its probe.
The agency has formally issued notices to property registrars in Delhi, Mumbai, and Lucknow, signaling its intention to assume physical possession of these properties.
