A young social media influencer from Punjab, Kanchan Tiwari, a popular youtuber known as Kamal Kaur or “Queen” was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a parked car at the Adesh Medical University campus in Bathinda.
Police suspect murder and are investigating possible links to a prior threat she had received from Canada-based designated terrorist Arsh Dalla. She had over 3.83 lakh followers on Instagram.
In October last year, Arsh Dalla had reportedly warned Kanchan to stop posting “inappropriate” videos online. Police sources say that while the threat is being taken seriously, they are examining all angles. “We are looking at every possible lead — nothing can be confirmed at this point,” said SSP Amneet Kondal.
